We did it – we have survived our 2^nd IUI treatment and now we have to wait!!!  If my cycle has not started by the 26^th of July I can go for a blood test to check if we are pregnant.

On Tuesday when we had our scan done I had to see my doctors partner because my doctor was in theatre.  This doesn’t bother me much anymore as I have seen so many doctors already before what is the difference going to be if I have to flash one more doctor…(Hahaha)

The partner did not discuss my hysteroscopy with us so when we saw my doctor on Wednesday for the first implant he showed us the before and after pictures of my womb when they removed the polyp.  What a shock!  The difference was like day and night.   Before the procedure the womb looks like it has a lot of loose strings or fuzz in it (if that makes sense).  After they removed the polyp and cleaned out the womb it looks like a baby pink satin lining and this is without any healing time allowed between pictures.  I don’t know why doc never did the procedure before we did the first treatment but this is in the past and now we look to the future.

We had a 20 million 80% count on Wednesday and yesterday we had a 15 million 90% count that was implanted.

I have also received a progesterone supplement to take at night to ensure the wombs lining is thick enough to help implantation to take place.  This also helps me sleep – yeah!!!  I really need something to help me sleep at night because otherwise I lay awake and my thoughts run away from me.  Hubby says he could see the sparkle in my eye when doc said that the supplement will help me sleep.

We bought a book called “The pregnant body” yesterday and I did some reading in bed last night to prepare myself for what lies ahead of us. Hubby and I looked at some of the pictures in there and WE CAN’T WAIT!  It is a truly amazing experience and a huge miracle.

All we can do right now is to pray that we will be blessed with this miracle…
