The 2WW…

July 16, 2012 in Uncategorized

Doc said that we could do a pregnancy blood test on the 26th of July if my menstruation hasn’t started yet.  Apparently the progesterone supplement I’m taking tricks your body into thinking that you are pregnant and one of my friends who fell pregnant after her 3rd IUI treatment warned me that this also lets menstruation stay away.

I have decided that if I possibly can I’m going to try and wait until Saturday 28 July and go for a pregnancy test with hubby if I still have no period.

This is going to be tough to wait longer but I think one of the biggest disappointments the previous time was when I had to phone the lab to find out from the lady that the test was negative after I poured my heart out to her earlier that morning.  If I’m not pregnant we’ll deal with it but if I am hubby and I will experience the entire process together.

I’m really enjoying my book a lot and learning so much.  I can’t wait for this journey to start!

  1. It must be so hard to wait for something you long for so much. I will keep you in my thoughts and pray that you will be posting a POSITIVE blog some time soon.
Aaah, I see you’ve got a ticker. I miss mine so, but can’t be bothered to figure it out.

  3. Hi Lanaswarts. I see yours is the only blog with tickers on it. What format are you using? I’ve loaded my tickers onto my dashboard but still don’t see them on my blog. I’m currently on wordpress twenty-eleven. Hope you can help.
